President Trump continues to foster an environment that drives private-sector investment in America’s innovation ecosystem, helping secure U.S. leadership in AI and other critical emerging technologies. wsj.com/tech/ai/trump-…
“By tapping into existing private sector innovation, the U.S. Government can escape the multi-decadal cycle of overly complex, cost-plus weather missions that have seen increasing budgets without proportional gains in performance.” - Mr. Thomas Cavett from @tomorrowio_
To win the AI race and ensure global technological dominance, we need more power.
56 years ago, Apollo 11 made history when Neil Armstrong took humanity’s first step on the Moon. As a member of @HouseScience, I’m proud to support @NASAArtemis as we build on that legacy by returning to the Moon and paving the way to Mars.
We led the world with the internet. We led the world in space. Now it’s time to lead the world in AI. That starts with unlocking more energy, building data centers, and unleashing American innovation. President Trump is getting it done.
I was 21 years old on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took “...one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind.” I never imagined I’d one day support @NASA as Chairman of @housescience. It’s a great honor to help carry forward the mission they began.
#OnThisDay in 1969, America made history by landing on the moon. This was a defining moment of courage and leadership. As a member of @housescience, I’m committed to ensuring the U.S. remains at the forefront of space exploration, scientific discovery and innovation.
56 years ago today, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped onto the Moon, planting the Stars and Stripes forever on the lunar surface, and marking one of the greatest achievements in human history. The crew of Apollo 11, along with everyone who made their mission possible,…
On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 landed on the Moon—uniting the world in awe and proving that with courage, ingenuity, and determination, no dream is out of reach. We honor the legacy of that giant leap as we focus on landing Americans on the lunar surface once again.

Important op-ed by the @housescience Chairman. Thank you @RepBrianBabin!
🚨 Chairman @RepBrianBabin: America must lead in science and technology. In his latest Op-Ed, he outlines how the R&D tax credit—included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—will boost innovation and secure U.S. leadership in AI, quantum, fusion, and more. nationalreview.com/2025/07/americ…
📸 Checkout photos from this week’s @HouseScience hearing. Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon—Texas State Climatologist & @TAMU_ATMO Regents Professor—shared expert insight on advancing weather forecasting & research. 🌦️📊 Learn more about the hearing: science.house.gov/hearings?Conte…
Improving weather forecasting saves lives and protects communities. Yesterday’s @housescience hearing showed how public-private partnerships are driving innovation. As storms grow more unpredictable, accurate forecasts help us stay ready when it matters most.

ICYMI: During this week's hearing, Chair @RepBrianBabin highlighted the critical need to improve our nation’s weather forecasting to protect lives & property. "We must enhance our modeling capabilities to extend prediction lead times and increase accuracy in rainfall forecasts."
In today's hearing on innovative weather technologies, Chairman @RepBrianBabin shared how the recent flooding in Texas has personally affected him and emphasized the urgent need to strengthen our nation's weather forecasting capabilities.
During our Environment Subcommittee hearing today, @RepHaridopolos challenged the claim that the catastrophic flooding in Texas resulted from understaffing. "Everything has to be political...we need to focus on solving problems. In the case here, it was done by the book."
Chairman @RepFranklin thanked Thomas Cavett (@tomorrowio_), Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon (@srclimatecenter), Dr. Waleed Abdalati (@CIRESnews), and Dr. Jayesh Kumar Gupta (@SilurianAI) for testifying on how emerging technologies are transforming weather forecasting and preparedness.

.@POTUS' technology agenda is delivering real results, and it’s a full team effort. Joined @howardlutnick @SecScottBessent @SecretaryWright @SecretaryBurgum @epaleezeldin @davidsacks47 to announce over $90 billion in AI and energy investments. 🇺🇸 whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/…
“The emphasis in the Weather Act on effective communication of weather hazards, with techniques based on sound science, is critical for ensuring that people understand the weather situation when their lives are at risk.” - Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon from @srclimatecenter
“For the first time, we have models that learn the integrated physics of the entire Earth system as a unified whole and achieve state-of-the-art results on a variety of environmental forecasting tasks.” - Dr. Jayesh K. Gupta from @SilurianAI
