This book will change how I teach the Lord’s Supper. It starts from the bottom up, not the top down – scripture’s witness first, rather than comparison and contrast of views of presence. Will be especially useful where people come with lots of inherited viewpoints.
FWIW, a “monastic” household governed by rhythm of daily work, prayer and meals under the aegis of a father and mother as priest and priestess is how Luther envisions the Christian family as described in his Small Catechism.
