Good read
The warning for Australia here is that it took Argentina 80 years to find their Milei. Why Javier Milei is today’s most exciting politician theaustralian.com.au/commentary/why…
How often do we have to listen to the term ‘culturally safe’ .. it implies Australian culture is not!
Why are Aussie governments so hell bent on fucking over Aussie farmers?
So are cattle being sold out in a trade off for steel and aluminium?
Whyalla steelworks gets $275m and the sheep industry gets spat upon!
Twittersphere, not so long ago someone posted about refilling a thermal fan (JD) Could someone please enlighten me.
It’s a pretty short term assumption given that so many governments are making life almost impossible for farmers.
And there it is…in black and white…the government admitting that the UK can source imported food to ensure food security. So what about the REAL source of sustainable food security - British produced local food?
Also we want the same terms: Make repayments only if we feel like it & without losing anything if we don't repay. Want to take a few years away from farming: The repayments will just have to wait until you feel like coming back to work.
The scary thing is that given cost of land now, you would be FAR better off investing in equities, commodities or commercial property. At same time margins continue to shrink as input costs rise without commensurate rise in revenue. Is food security at risk - I would argue we are…
It’s unsustainable. Equity dosent equal cash flow. And the cap ex on expensive gear is now exponentially higher than it was, but the quality of said new gear, the cost of parts and the inability of gear sellers to keep enough parts or keep gear going has now perversely resulted…
‘This country, taken from the Bigambul and Gomeroi people, had been largely used as grazing land after colonisation.’ from an abc article about John Norman. This country is Australia! I am an Australian farmer and I worked bloody hard and paid for the right to operate my farm!
We are honoured to have Woolworths as a Gold Sponsor of AgXchange Australia 2025 🌾 Through initiatives like the Farming for the Future campaign, AgriEmpower Scholarships and the Dairy Innovation Fund, they're driving real progress in sustainable agriculture and industry…
The most delightful quote from Noel Pearson in today’s Australian; ‘governments can’t organise a proverbial night of debauchery in kings cross with a fistful of dollars’ we used to say it with far less verbiage!
How many red flags does our national rail safety regulator ONRSR need? Absolutely shameful
I can’t pretend for a second that I dont feel gutted by this. The office of national rail safety has pushed back on so many levels and I feel they should be held criminally liable! abc.net.au/news/2025-07-1…

The Govt has announced the detail on its transition package to phase out live sheep exports. We don’t support the ban. It will hurt farmers, communities & the economy. But we do support our members @WAFarmers @SheepProducers @WoolProducers @AustLiveExports as they help producers…
Gee people can be lovely! Left my charging cord home last week and have managed between wifey and me for the week but we’re on different flights home. I asked the hosty if they had one I could borrow and a couple of others chipped in and offered. I’m very grateful!
She illegally imported 62t of food and was handed a 24-month intensive corrections order + 150 hours of community service. I join industry reps saying it is not a strong enough deterrent. Producers pay for biosecurity so need better support than this. abc.net.au/news/2025-06-2…
