Today's word of the day (seriously): nefandous MEANING: adjective: So wicked as to defy description: abominable, appalling. This plan is truly that. Trump preparing sweeping pardons for Jan. 6 defendants, with commutations for violent offenders goodmorningamerica.com/news/story/tru…

There was no call. Not even a voicemail. Americans should be alarmed that a President deploying Marines onto our streets doesn’t even know who he’s talking to.
Reporter: When is last time you spoke with Governor Newsom? President Trump: A day ago. Called him up to tell him, got to do a better job, he's doing a bad job. Causing a lot of death and potential death

One of the dozen or so outrages that went relatively under the radar – this week.

Apparent resolution of the totally ugly stick them all in a room brutality
NEW: A career prosecutor in DOJ's public integrity section volunteered to sign the Adams motion, in a bid to spare colleagues from being possibly fired. The person is viewed by them as a hero, and the decision came after Emil Bove gave them one hour to decide who will file it.
The dual themes of this carpetbombing: 1) they exceed the Pres's executive powers; & 2) they bring distress and suffering to Americans. Trump can order DOJ to support w/ the full force of the federal govt, and if he loses so what? & if people die in the meantime, so double what?
JUST IN: Judge Amy Berman Jackson — who sat in the courtroom during Trump's arraignment in Washington — becomes the latest federal judge to speak out on Jan. 6 pardons. "Patriotism is loyalty to country and loyalty to the Constitution – not loyalty to a single head of state."
If she had any self-respect, Pam Bondi would withdraw her nomination. Not only is this the worst affront to the DOJ in its history, it contradicts her testimony and her expressed revulsion for pardoning people who are violent to enforcement while making her look impotent.
more skirmishes in Cannon's court --Trump asks for re-reconsideration; DOJ says deny it he's not even a party. and it's Cinderella stroke of midnight time.
