Great pleasure co-hosting this scoping meeting to explore research and teaching opportunities on better environment and healthier city planning, through Exeter-CUHK ENSURE partnership (project on nature-based solutions) with @huwwilliams19 @GescheHuebner @TimTaylorEnvEco @ECEHH.

My favourite of the week - ending our pollution monitoring walk in Broad Street, seeing the environmental history of water pump memorial containing cholera, in front of John Snow Pub with a pint!
From Marylebone Road to the John Snow Memorial, we're uncovering the intersections of technology and environmental health! #WearableSensors #ExposureScience #LondonTour 🌍 @NERCscience @imperialcollege @ERGImperial @UniofExeter @ECEHH
My new blog: ecehh.org/news/health-at… "Health had a clear presence at COP29 but hasn't arrived where it belongs: at the heart of climate negotiations." @ECEHH @UniofExeter @wellcometrust @WHO #COP29 #ClimateChange #Health
Representing and promoting the GW4 Air Network in beautiful Bristol at the @UKHSA Annual Air Pollution Research Review and Stakeholder Meeting 2024 - brilliant programme and excellent presenters! Very pleased to present new work and meet my old colleagues and friends!

PHD OPPORUNITY - Excited to announce this NERC DTP project on environmental and health impacts of residential wood burning in the GW4 area, co-supervised by @vincent_luozw and @lucyganderson . 📅: OPEN NOW till 13 January 2025. bit.ly/3UZGPsD
On 07 Nov 24, we have successfully launched the first hybrid symposium for our GW4 Air Network with 38 participants. 58% of our researcher members are ECRs. We covered 10+ disciplines through lightning talks. If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together!

Our new £10m centre will tackle the health impacts of climate change! The Centre for Net Positive Health and Climate Solutions is funded by UK Research and Innovation, led by @TimTaylorEnvEco Run with: Forest Research UK @UKHSA @metoffice @nationaltrust news.exeter.ac.uk/university/new…
Call for academics, researchers, industrial partners and community members interested in air, temperature, greenness and housing topics in the Southwest England and Cardiff (e.g. Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Bath and more) to join us for a full-day symposium 07 Nov!

📢Funded PhD studentship in noise and health in the UK open for applications working with me, Prof John Gulliver & Prof Charlotte Clark in the growing Environmental and Social Epidemiology Section of @SGUL_PHRI! (🧵1/n) sgul.ac.uk/study/postgrad…
Huge congratulations to Lora, I have not had the privilege to work with her directly but she has been very keen in supporting me to connect with potential collaborators, which I really appreciate. Lora sets a true role model for early career researchers in the field!
Day 5 marks the conclusion of our wearable training course, with a very inspiring and also approachable keynote speech delivered by Frank about London's and his personal journey on air pollution. We then rewarded participants with a departure drink reception for their hard work!
The week ended with an inspiring keynote by Prof. Frank Kelly, Battcock Chair in Community Health and Policy at Imperial College London, sharing London's environmental journey from pea soup smog to an ultra-low emission city. @imperialcollege @ERGImperial @UniofExeter @ECEHH
Day 4 was action-packed at our training course! Dr. Yiqun Han & Dr. Hanbin Zhang led a coding session, exploring data processing & analysis. Attendees delved into visualizing air pollution & GPS data. @NERCscience @imperialcollege @ERGImperial @UniofExeter @ECEHH
Fantastic opportunity to learn about air pollution with our fully funded course! From basics to in-depth research, discover why some are more vulnerable than others. Limited spots left! Register interest by Feb 29, 2024. shorturl.at/euzN6 @DianaVaraden @ImpUrbanHealth
