1 haiku everyday
then the rain began rhythm tapped on windowsill as i wrote to you

windowless morning sweeping world into the room these dreams are breaking

you’re by the window our lives turn into evening this room growing dark

this house creaks and speaks so much time thinking of you the day has begun

in a high sprung vase gladioli sprint of red to cheer a darkness

you talk about dreams back and forth take in error i watch the tennis

blushed with summer light picked plums like no tomorrow taste into autumn

last of break back sun past midnight dark horizon early hours will crack

crow throat, pigeon eaves swifts zing invisible wires morning bird kingdom

took a trip to art open sky was inside us through these city streets

sometimes i forget how many years we have passed flickering evening

knife light slices through in this already morning our life together

someone is sanding windowsill down, back and forth weekend intention

death of this journey just two hundred more pages then i’m through with you
