Excellent day with the first school visit from @BallinamoreCS TY class 🏫 We were exploring our blanket bogs 🌱, how we can restore them 🌲 and the importance of scorecards 💯 The School Programme is part of @WaterLANDS_EU in collaboration with @WAN_LIFEIP and @NPWSIreland 🇪🇺🇮🇪

We are very impressed and pleased with our restoration works as part of @WaterLANDS_EU 🇪🇺🇮🇪 Our coir logs are still holding water after over a week with no rain ☔️ It is also already supporting some key species 🐸 Amazing success! #GenerationRestoration @NPWSIreland @WAN_LIFEIP

Great to see one of our sites restored 💪 This bog was full of self-seeded conifers from a close by plantation🌲 We can see how this bog is now on track to be a heathly bog. This site has been also included in the documentary #TheFutureofNature in tv next 16th of April in @PBS
