We are a diverse bunch of researchers, scholar activists, artists, advocates, service users, education and health consultants. Together we aim to better understand social factors in the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of neurodivergent people of all ages.

New research 📝 negative school experiences generate twice the emotional burden in autistic and ADHD teens compared to neurotypical students. This rejects previous thinking that depression risk is due solely to deficits in ability to regulate emotions. annafreud.org/news/neurodive…
The concept of emotional burder, as measured by the MESI, could have implications for interventions that aim to promote the wellbeing of autistic young people and those with ADHD. We are very proud collaborators!
