The Senate dropped the SSN requirement for the proposed Trump Accounts. So they are creating a new cash grant program for illegal immigrants.
I know we're doing a lot of takes on public provision of groceries right now, but the real action is in the U.S. Senate where their tax bill threatens to entirely end SNAP--which helps people buy groceries--in some states.
