glad tidings to the strangers | 🇵🇸 🇧🇩| Creative | Intellectual 🎨📚🥣

Your wife is an amanah from Allah, not a display for the world. Her beauty, modesty, and dignity are treasures to guard, not to show off. True love means protecting her ‘awrah, honouring her privacy, and keeping her secure in both dunya and akhirah.
The beauty of Islam is in the transformation. The closer you get to deen, the more unrecognisable you become to your past self. Sins that once felt easy now feel heavy & even detestable. As you get closer to Allah, you find peace only in obedience to Him. This is true growth.
Once a person has truly and sincerely repented for their past sins no matter what the sins were no need to ask them about their past or hold that against them. Everyone has a past that’s sinful and we all need of the mercy of Allah regardless of what sins we committed. Don’t be…
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.” It was said: “Who are the strangers?’ He said: “Strangers who have left their families and tribes (for sake of Allah).” Sunan ibn Majah 3988
May Allah ﷻ forgive us and change us until He is pleased with us
Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said: “Being dutiful to one’s parents is an expiation for the major sins!” [Al-Ādāb Ash-Shar’iyyah: 1/463]
Planes that land safely never make the news.
Does marriage have any good PR?🤔
Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said: "Whenever you notice your life is being disturbed and changed, then recall a blessing that you have not thanked Allāh for (and thank Him for it) or a sin you have previously committed (and seek forgiveness for it)." [Captured Thoughts l pg. 88]
The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: “When a woman observes the five times of prayer, fasts during Ramadan, preserves her chastity and obeys her husband, she may enter by any of the gates of Paradise she wishes.” [Hadith Al-Tirmidhi]
Shaykh ibn Bāz رحمه الله said: "Many of the husbands are lions against the wife but ostriches when it comes to other than her." [Sharh Riyādhus-Sālihīn (1/543)]
قال ابن حزم: إذا ارتفعت الغيرة فأيقن بارتفاع المحبة Ibn Hazm said: “When one’s ghayrah (protective jealousy) rises, then be certain that love will also rise.” The stronger the ghayra, the stronger the love. [Ethics and Conduct by Ibn Hazm - p.115]
Protective jealousy is a sign of pure love
