#CVU conducted enforcement within the Trafford Park area, looking at commercial vehicle load security, and weight offences with the support of #DVSA. Over 20 vehicles stopped; 14 prohibited for overweight / insecure loads, fines issued. 1 seized #Sec165 no driving licence.

This scaffolding van was stopped by #CVU officers on the M60 for load security issues. Further checks revealed that the van was 50% overweight, coming in at a staggering 5.2t and the driver’s licence had also expired. PG170 issued and driver reported #seized #fatal4 #SaferSummer

#SEIZED | This vehicle was issued a S59 warning last month by City of Manchester officers for antisocial driving. Today, #GMPSCIU officers sighted him again driving anti socially. Vehicle seized under S59 Police Reform Act and driver reported.

This stolen vehicle was sighted by #GMPMotorcycleUnit on Littleton road, Salford. The rider decided to go off road right into the path of the off road bikes and was abandoned in the bushes. The rider failed at his game of hide and seek. Male arrested, vehicle recovered

Seen on park road, Stretford riding at speed by #GMPMotorcycleUnit. On inspection it as a 2000w motor and probably capable of beating most vehicles in a race of 0-60mph. This is a motorcycle, not an ebike. Vehicle seized and rider reported.

Sometimes people do things that still surprise us.... The driver of this private hire car stopped in the live lane of the M60 near junction 17 then crossed the solid white lines before then changing his mind and going back across to the main carriageway. TOR issued for Due care
