On this day in 1999, @Millencolin released their first compilation album, The Melancholy Collection. The album combines songs from band's first two EPs, B-sides from their singles and other rare and unreleased tracks. Great listen!
On this day in 1997, @Acommunication released their debut album, How Ace Are Buildings. I remember first hearing the single for Number One and loving it, I've been a massive fan ever since. I love this album, Cheeky Monkey, Bad Idea, all superb tunes!
On this day in 1996, @pistolsofficial released the live album Filthy Lucre Live. The album was recorded live at Finsbury Park on 23 June 1996 after the band had reformed. It reached number 26 in the UK album charts!
On this day in 1996 @DodgyUK released the single Good Enough. Fantastic song, in at number 4 in the UK singles charts. It was their second single from Free Peace Sweet and still their highest charting single.
On this day in 1996, @suedeHQ released the single Trash. The lead single from their third studio album, Coming Up, it went in at number 3 in the UK singles chart. A proper anthem!
On this day in 1996 #Sun released the Sun EP. The band were later renamed #SilverSun shortly afterwards after a clash with a German band with the same name. Such a superb EP, it reached number 142 in the UK charts. Still amazing even now, love Top Trumps!
A gig memory from this day in 2016 and @DONBROCO at Newcastle Riverside. The night could have been worse when someone jumped from the balcony into the crowd below. Could have been bad but thankfully nobody was hurt!
On this day in 2009, @RXBandits released their sixth studio album, Mandala, on @sargenthouse Its been interesting to see how the band have evolved over the years. I personally prefer the early ska/punk sounds at times but the newer alternative sounding albums are very good too
On this day in 1986, @remhq released their fourth studio album, Lifes Rich Pageant in the UK, the US had to wait until the 29th. IT reached number 43 in the UK album charts and included the singles Fall On Me & Superman.
On this day in 1986, @wearejames released their debut studio album, Stutter on @sirerecords What an introduction. More of a folk sound but still fantastic to listen to. Included the one single So Many Ways and reached number 68 in the UK album charts.
On this day in 1997, @ChinaDrum1 released the single Fiction Of Life A fantastic double CD taken from their second album, Self Made Maniac. I especially love the cover of Fall At Your Feet on CD2. It reached number 65 in the UK charts!
On this day in 1997, @gene_band released the single Speak To Me Someone. Taken from the album Drawn to the Deep End, it reached number 30 in the UK singles charts!
On this day in 1997, @paulwellerHQ released the single Brushed. The second single taken from Heavy Soul, it reached number 14 in the UK charts!
On this day in 1996, @ChinaDrum1 released the single Wipeout This was actually the first single by the band that I bought, loved them a long time but never bought stuff. In at number 93 in the UK charts!

On this day in 2004, @TBSOfficial released their second studio album, Where You Want To Be on @victoryrecords Reaching number 71 in the UK album charts, it did considerably better in the USA where it has reportedly sold over 700,000 copies! I love This Photograph Is Proof!
On this day in 2010, @TheOfficialA7X released their fifth studio album, Nightmare. This was the first album without The Rev, however his vocals were included as a tribute & as well as some of the material he wrote. Reached number 5 in the UK charts, fantastic listen!
