I started a new experiment with my new “one sec” Shortcuts Automation app: it enforces to take a deep breath before opening social media. After two weeks of use, my screen time is down by more than 40%: apps.apple.com/de/app/one-sec… But how does it work?
I think the NYC subway grid was meant to be viewed through a refractive glass lens
Spent some time preparing Duet for iOS 26. Pretty happy with how this interaction turned out! In a shocking turn of events, I ended up using SwiftUI for the two map style buttons because, despite UIButton.Configuration being great, it’s got noting on SUI’s ButtonStyle API.
We’re incredibly excited to announce our new app, PocketShelf (@PocketShelfApp)! It’s a reading tracker built for iOS 26, featuring a Liquid Glass design and an integration with Apple’s Foundation Models framework for some fun AI features. We = (@FrankSolleveld and I) (1/3)
It’s insane: iOS 26 is so well designed and advanced, every time a friend passes me a device with iOS 18 it feels like iOS 7.
We’ve launched a new fun interactive welcome view for @one_sec_app last month. How do you like it? PS: of course includes haptic feedback!
So far, iOS 26 has fixed the biggest amount of my feedback requests in the history of iOS releases. Definitely a good year 🙌 …and still a long way to go 😃

I built a small Swift Array Extension called “VibeSort” for the new iOS 26 Foundation Models: (You’ll never have to guess again what areInIncreasingOrder actually means) Just type what you want and the LLM will sort it out at runtime ;)

the ios 26 hold music detection only works once per call. if you get put back on hold you’ll have to wait yourself
I just want to make sure people know that Jack is stealing valor here. There was an awesome team that delivered this feature, I lead that team, and I’ve never heard of or met Jack. I can’t tell whether Jack is trolling or whether something far more sinister is happening here.

PSA: if you encounter any issues on iOS 26 with one sec’s Re-Interventions or delayed interventions, please open one sec → Customize → Advanced → Screen Time Glitch → Reset Screen Time API. …and please send a feedback report to Apple! (My feedback is tracked under…

✨ just released a BIG stability & bug fix update for the @one_sec_app browser extension! available for Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Arc, … Creating great web experiences across different browsers is hard. Inserting one sec’s intervention is even harder 🥹 But I’m quite…

Finally back home after THE BEST WWDC WEEK ever (and that means something, I’ve been to a lot)!! - For the third year, stayed in the crazy indie house with 10 other iOS indie devs & met hundreds of engineers & designers inside and outside of Apple – just that by itself was well…

From my experience with the Screen Time API so far, this is sadly true :/ Screen Time is such an important topic nowadays, but bugs are not fixed since the API came out 😭
Apple basically abandoned this API I wish you the best 🫡
For my friends working on Safari: I would suggest moving the “Search on Page” button from the Reader menu (which is not available on all pages) to the new … menu! FB18307874

I could imagine that’s still coming but iPhone 17 Pro only

It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since Steve told Stanford graduates to stay hungry and stay foolish. His powerful advice still rings true, and I hope it helps guide this year’s new grads as they begin their journey to become tomorrow’s leaders. stevejobsarchive.com/exhibits/stay-…
First time I’m seeing this notification in liquid glass 🥰🥰🥰
