@francis_codex
software engineer focusing on blockchain technology, developer relations, and advocacy.
developer relations is not just a nickname watch out, as I am developing myself more, and when I'm done, you won't be able to ignore me ever.

I attended church today for the first time in months, and I feel really good. now, I feel more like my paragon, st. francis of assisi. pray for us.
Omo, I can't remember when last I entered mass oh, my life don dey spoil 😔
on March 4, 2024, he only had 9 wins, but now he has 25. I will always be rooting for you, brother. men like @netrovertHQ 🫡

One idea I hold, is having more than just 1 mentor within the same industry, not because I am not loyal but because I feel it will make me better, I might be wrong but I just feel learning from more than one person (companies to) will make you come up with better ways of doing…
what drives me crazy is that I can't remember when I said this! 😅 well, big ups to you, brother, and I appreciate you “Anatarè” 🤝
I started my web3bridge journey from @Stacks L2 on Bitcoin, @francis_codex came from Solana, and he told me that, the best place to improve yourself is in the ecosystem you came from, that makes sense. While we advance in this cohort, learning Arbitrum, I will look into clarity.
Sometimes I think back to the last 3–4 years in tech. I treated people’s startups like they were mine, worked like I owned it. But in the end, they do their thing. Now I can’t even give mine that same energy. The PTSD is real.
what I wish I knew as a software engineer: don't stay at one company early on. gain diverse experience to grow faster! don't be loyal to a company that doesn’t value you—most don’t. prioritize your growth!
Woohooo day 4 of the OSS Wave and 90% of repos have active contributors contributiiiing! There are still issues up for grabs 👀: onlydust.com/waves/wave-jul… And a cool Discord channel where we really do help you find projects or answer questions 🥰: discord.gg/sVDvdKqPqN

They haven't gotten users yet Anchor is ok to start with, even will get you to a prototype incredibly quickly But if you want to stay competitive long term you must do better
Oh no, just imagine how newcomers to the field, like those learning anchor, might feel overwhelmed or behind before they even begin. thank you for the warning; those of us who are already familiar with this space will take your advice seriously. upskilling is essential!
The fact of the matter is that if you're on solana cli or sdk version <2.2, you're behind. You need to catch up If you're still using Anchor and your protocol has any reasonable amount of users, you're also behind. Catch up
linux is killing me at this point if you recently set up your solana dev env, please reach out 🙏
It's amazing how supportive @solana_devs are. About a year ago, I began my Solana journey, and now I can write for the same blog I studied. 🫡 Aiming for @anza_xyz next. 💅

how do you tell someone that their idea already exists? even when they are so convinced that it's different or trying to provide another approach that will eventually lead to what already exists
