Great to see this young corncrake at one of our sites. At 25-30 days old it is only 2 weeks away from being fledged and will then depart for Africa. Female corncrakes are now on their second clutch and it's vital that they produce fledged young to sustain the population.

Take a peek into the outdoor rearing stage of the @BreedingWaders curlew with our Ranger Jess. The curlew are not visible to the public in the Park. While the curlew are monitored, there is only limited human activity in these areas to help the birds progress back into the wild.
