This is my book. It was published in October of 2024. People have said it's sad, raunchy, and very fucking funny. You should buy a copy from Expat Press before June 1st. (165pgs.)

Grateful I can logon today and find Freud's great-great-granddaughter parlaying her foraging influencer status into a sponsorship for a Sims IV foraging expansion pack
My high school wasn't all bad. I got to spend time with a lovely poet-in-training whose young life was marked by tragedy. Before she was swept up in the opioid crisis, she taught me to love Emily Dickinson. I've kept this book almost as long as any other.

It is imperative that you give @forrestmuelrath's 'The Valeries' a read. This book is a masterwork. Huge thanks to @HughBlanton5 for letting me have his amazing review with GCJ last month, 'Catch and Release'. It convinced me to nab a copy and I do not regret it.
I love driving around and listening to sexxy Robert Duncan lecture on Dickinson

I prefer a Nabokov comparison to a Bernhard one. Bernhard is too singular & even more seductive than Carver. I would be fine, for instance, if you said Nabokovian pomposity with Stein-like repetition. For now. Later you can say, like, a rare singular voice from the internet era.
At least he didn't say Bernhard!! Thanks Zachary Salmon, wherever you are.

Perhaps it's not too late to ape the phrasing of Bernhard in translation, young man

Award me your fellowship or residency based on the merit of my novel about a father who spends one August investigating the homemade pornography on his son's laptop. Yes?

Or you could wake up at 5 am each morning before your shift to write a set of novels that will cause Christian Lorentzen to shit his pants once a day for the remaining decades of his long life.
Tho the best thing for a genius novelist is to get in a situation where you can sit around for long stretches of time doing nothing. After perhaps a youthful stint on a whaling vessel. Or even better, be born rich and gain experience through moneyed folly
The most satisfying way to work and make money with others I have found is in something like a mercantile guild — a small association of artisans who master a craft and manage trade within a particular market. Some independent hospitality and food businesses still function this…

If forced to do 60+ hours of labor each week, as a writer you can expect me to produce approx. 1 tweet every ten days where I cuss wildly at a distant associate who I unreasonably presume to be an agent of my economic oppressor
I hate putting real shit here, this parody of real life. I am not well and dont have the energy to play pretend right now.
Apologies to everyone and especially @lynchpoet for missing the event celebrating Rudy Johnson’s incredible new book of poems tonight. I recently had to take on a new job bartending and right now I have zero energy to work on my art. Also a huge fuck you to @Perez_Writes and…
