By sheer Providence I happened upon the Horween horse butt used for the main panels of this slip cover, and I've been chasing that ever since. Maybe the most beautiful piece of leather I've ever found. A5 slip cover, Italian cow for the spine and interior.

I cannot recommend Homely House and his work too highly! I'll definitely be entering in this.
Alright, the August giveaway drawing is live! You can enter now (by several methods) to win a hand-bound, Medieval-style illuminated Gospel book from Tamburn Bindery. If you'd like to support my work, you can pickup a printable illuminated Gospel coloring book PDF download for…
Two layers of a soft @HorweenLeather cowhide, dyed and waxed by hand, and stitched onto this incredible vintage buckle. The buckle depicts Britannia receiving gifts from industry, agriculture, science, & the arts. 98% Made in America--all but the glue 😁

Some more of The Imitation of Christ. This one had wood board covers with black goatskin and brass bosses.
🚨#BREAKING: Zillicoah Brewing, a family brewery that was destroyed during Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina... ...has confirmed their competition, local breweries, were quietly donating a portion of their sales to Zillicoah for months They will re-open this summer.
My woodwork is not great, but it's functional enough for a rack. Roughly left to right, tools including strap cutter, punch sharpener, stitching chisels, corner punch, creases, river setter, dye pens, edge bevelers, hole punches, and a burnisher. Might do a tool thread 👀

This is it, people. I should add this to my website.
I have a new word for you, @CatholicPipeCo
Italian leather clutch, which I made for my darling wife. I've since moved away from the high gloss resin finishes usually, but man that shine is something else. Reminds me to experiment with carnauba wax, which is the hardest natural wax (and thus the shiniest).

Cuff for a Swiss K31. Got pictures before and after adding the cheek riser, which does make for a much more pleasant shooting experience. Those nickel coated GP11 rounds do steal the limelight though, not gonna lie.

I love contrast, but this completely blacked-out belt ended up looking awesome. The buckle is PVD coated brass (kind of a crazy process) which gives it better durability than a standard paint coating.

Unlined double-keeper belt for @stronkdaddy , who has been as cantankerous and loyal a friend as I could dare to hope for. Possibly my favorite dye color I've ever mixed for a belt.

This belt has met heads of state, thanks to its owner. Unlined cow, Chicago screws for buckle swaps, and one of the most beautiful & mysterious buckles I've used. Cloisonne (wire/enamel) of unknown origin. Grateful to @CarlHPetersonIV for his support of my craft, to this day.
