Bryson DeChambeau hit his opening shot OB off the first, then saved bogey and birdied the next 2 holes to be 1 under for the day and back to level par for the championship. Another great bounce back 👏
Shane Lowry is clearly absolutely devastated about the 2 shot penalty for his ball moving. He also doesn’t think it was correct. Should he really have been penalised? This is worth a listen:
World number 1 Scottie Scheffler shoots a second round 64 with 8 birdies to take the solo lead of The Open Championship at Royal Portrush. A win would put him 3/4 of the way towards the Career Grand Slam and be his 20th worldwide win since 2022. Unreal!

52 yo Lee Westwood hit a 380 yard drive today. He played his first Open Championship 30 years ago and after rounds of 69 and 70 he’s made the cut comfortably and sits in T13 at Royal Portrush. So impressive especially after coming through qualifying!
DJ just hit the flag with his approach at the last and tapped it in for birdie to make the cut at The Open on level par for the championship. It’s his first made cut at a major this season.

Lefty made his first cut at the 1990 US Open as an amateur and he’s still doing it 35 years later. The longevity of his career has been incredible and we’re so lucky to have been entertained by him for 3 and half decades. What a legend 👍
