This trade could be very scary for the rest of Western Conference. After all the talk of a “poor” free agency from Edmonton, they get a young kid on a 3 year entry level deal who could be fantastic top 6 winger for McDavid and Leon from day 1 👀👀

Macklin Celebrini (age 17) and Adam Fantilli (age 18) won last two Hobey Bakers, prior to Isaac Howard, but did so as freshmen. Howard (age 20) was a junior. Last four forwards to win it as a junior: Adam Gaudette, Johnny Gaudreau, Marty Sertich, Peter Sejna. Time will tell. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Friedman on 32TP says the reason the Evan Bouchard extension got done so quickly is because Carolina threatened the Oilers with an offer-sheet. They pivoted to K’Andre Miller after Bouchard extended.
