The LILO & STITCH remake is now on digital. I didn't love it, but as far as Disney remakes go I didn't hate it either. The main [adult] actress is cute. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
I've got some free passes to an advanced screening of THE BAD GUYS 2 in Portland & Seattle this Saturday at 11am. Seattle: gofobo.com/FilmJabberBADG… Portland: gofobo.com/FilmJabberBADG…

My girlfriend was going to let me take her to go see Superman, but she know wants to see the new I Know What You Did Last Summer... which is fine by me. But I'm glad to see Superman do so well, at least domestically. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
Wow, FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES (on Blu-ray this week) is gloriously gruesome in all the right ways. Between this and The Monkey, it's been a great year for clever kills. Recommended. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
Ari Aster's EDDINGTON is an Ari Aster Disaster, an epic waste of 6 hrs of my life (it's officially 2.5 hrs, but the pacing here is insufferable). Some funny swipes at conspiracy theorists and leftists alike aside, I hated hated hated this movie. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
I haven't heard much about the post-apocalyptic thriller 40 ACRES, which is a shame because it's a fast-paced, entertaining, and intense piece of fiction. It may not be groundbreaking, but it's a lot of fun to watch. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
A new release not named Superman is SORRY, BABY, an examination of grief, trauma & friendships in the wake of a sexual assault. It's a solid feature debut for writer/director Eva Victor, though its adherence to indie drama-comedy stereotypes holds it back. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
Finally watched Thunderbolts w/ an Asterisks. Compared to other recent entries, it's pretty solid and less like it was spewed from a generic machine. Even still, I could care less about these secondary characters - Marvel needs to bring back the big guns. buff.ly/mY8NpdI
The time to tell a woman you're only interesting in casual sex is not when she has you chained to a bet. Seattleites, attend a FREE screening of OH, HI! (featuring Logan Lerman and Molly Gordon.) docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…

I have to admit, when I saw the #Superman trailers featuring Krypto the Dog I was pretty worried. But somehow James Gunn pulls it off by turning Krypto into a poorly behaved but well-intentioned mutt who can destroy anything in his way.

This coming Wednesday, Seattleites get early access to I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. I've got free passes right here: events.sonypictures.com/events/user/sc…

Wow. I went in cautiously optimistic but #Superman was a blast of blue and red energy. Kudos to James Gunn for kicking things off on a high note. I was especially worried about Krypto the Dog but even he was a lot of fun. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
Late to the party but despite reviews I really enjoyed F1. Sure, the story is utterly predictable but Joseph Kosinksi delivers several full-throttle race car sequences and then some. He knew the assignment. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
Wow. Finally saw THE LIFE OF CHUCK and what a stunningly great film it is. Despite the reviews I had near-zero interest in it (the marketing does not do it justice, at all), but... wow. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
There's a new Smurfs movie coming to theaters on July 18, this one starring Rihanna. If you want to take the family early and for free, mark your calendars for next Saturday, July 12. Get your passes below. Seattle: gofobo.com/FilmJabberSMUR… Portland: gofobo.com/FilmJabberSMUR…

Seattleites, who wants to attend a FREE IMAX advance screening of SUPERMAN this coming Monday. I have a few passes, but they are going to go extra quick: wbtickets.com/SUPERMANSEA
#JurassicWorld Rebirth is a mixed bag. David Koepp, who wrote the OG, returns & delivers a lackluster script, but director Gareth Edwards lands some exciting sequences. It's a big improvement over the last two, but a few tweaks would have gone a long way. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
I put together a few thoughts on PRESENCE, a movie that is a bit deeper than first appears but still suffers from Soderbergh being more interested in experimenting with camera angles than landing what could have been a mind-blowing climax and twist. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
My review of THE MONKEY, the funniest movie of 2025. filmjabber.com/movie-reviews/…
Portland and Seattle friends, I have some free passes to advanced screenings of #JurassicWorld Rebirth on Monday, June 30. These will be gone quick. Seattle: gofobo.com/NtizW23669 Portland: gofobo.com/yGitp31647
