Polkadot is rethinking its $500M/yr (~13% of DOT’s mc) economic security spend. Solana tried to reduce overpaying stakers if usage doesn’t justify it via SIMD-228. Celestia says remove staking, pick validators off-chain. So economic security was a meme? Let’s get it undone..🧵

There was a change recently on Polkadot where staking "locks" are now "holds". This is causing issues with Ledger Live displaying balances. Please rest assured that these are only display issues. You can check your balance using another wallet or a block explorer like Subscan.
