あーこれ、意外と知られてないんですね… 風の谷の人たちの服装も、カフカース地域の民族衣装がモデルなんです。 竜騎兵が馬上で弾薬を装填するのに便利な胸ポケット（ガズィリ）が特徴的ですね。 ジョージアではチョハ ロシアではチェルケスカ と言いますが、地域ごとに色々な呼び名があります。
知人に「ナウシカのユパの髪型っていったい何なんだよ」と言ったら、あれはおそらくウクライナ・コサックの伝統的なオセレーデツィという髪形がモチーフであり、クシャナの髪型も(ティモシェンコがしているような)ウクライナの伝統的な髪形をモデルにしてるのではないかと言われた
