I've seen a few people claim otherwise (due to GQux discourse), and I understand the sentiment, i.e. how Turn A removes the "Gundam" from Gundam. Tomino once even remarked in private that maybe it shouldn't have been "Gundam". BUT, the project only exists because it is Gundam
