Ten years ago this summer, I was preparing to defend my dissertation at Vandy. Today, I received word that I've been promoted to full professor at my undergrad alma mater. Thanks to all of the mentors, collaborators, students, and friends who have supported me in this journey!

Thanks to all those in attendance at the Florida School Safety Specialist conference. We shared work on our statewide school safety data dashboard, heard from those impacted by school violence, and discussed paths to improving school safety.

Had a great couple days hosting Dr. Julie Gerlinger from the University of Oklahoma's Department of Sociology. Collaborative work underway examining how to increase parental voice in school discipline and understanding impacts of discipline on students and families.
