If you want to understand the history of passing in the NFL, this chart is a good place to start. 2020 was the highest completion percentage year ever (65.2%), and also the lowest Y/C year ever (11.1). Cmp% in BLUE against the LEFT Y-Axis. Y/C in RED against the RIGHT Y-Axis.

And there you go. Pretty excited about this.

Jets fans, get ready: Over his last four season openers, Aaron Rodgers has been awful, totaling just 495 passing yards, 1 TD, and 4 INTs with a 60.4 passer rating.
New Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers will wear No. 8 this season. 📸 @steelers
With Derek Carr retiring, a reminder: There are only three QBs in NFL history who have a career sack rate below 5% and an INT rate below 2%. Brady Mahomes Carr (H/T @Stathead) stathead.com/tiny/2XyPC

This one is believable, as 3-14 Daboll is an expert on being unprepared.
The Giants Reportedly Gave Up On Shedeur Sanders When He Was Unprepared For A Meeting, Daboll Called Him Out On It And It 'Didn't Go Well' From There buff.ly/Try3iY3
Who had Dillon Gabriel being drafted before Shadeur Sanders?
Breece Hall is the only one of the last five Big 12 Offensive POY to be drafted in the first three rounds.

Over the last 70 years, there have been just 3 players to have 2+ interceptions and 20+ receptions in the same season: Woodley Lewis (1957 Cardinals) Roy Green (1981 Cardinals) Deion Sanders (1996 Cowboys)
AMERICAN KINGS, a varied and thorough look at what it means to be a quarterback, will be out 9/9. Waterfield, Elway, Unitas, Caleb Williams, Moon, Manning (and Manning, Manning and Manning), Steve Young, Colin Hurley, Shack Harris, Vanita Krouch, and more! amazon.com/American-Kings…
Since 1960, only 15 QBs have made the Pro Bowl in their rookie season. Mac Jones having his best season as a rookie is certainly a rare event for a QB, and I still can't believe Drake Maye made the Pro Bowl last year?

In retrospect, who should have been the first QB drafted in 2015?
The @Giants now have all of the active QBs with 111 career interceptions
The Giants finally caved and signed that QB with 111 career interceptions.
Jameis Winston is a true throwback. He is one of only 18 QBs to average at least 7.5 yards/attempt and 3.5 interceptions/100 attempts.... and the only one to enter the NFL after 1978 stathead.com/sharing/hzTAe (h/t @Stathead)

Draft capital in the 2025 draft by @fbgchase's draft value chart
The Giants finally caved and signed that QB with 111 career interceptions.

This guy got it right before everyone else. This was the Jets pick they sent for Davante Adams, not the Jets own 3rd
Jets are 100% using the 3rd they got from the lions to get Davante Adams before the deadline btw
Quarterbacks to be drafted first overall and then won a Super Bowl with the team that drafted them: Joe Namath Terry Bradshaw Troy Aikman Peyton Manning
Over the last 9 seasons, Sam Darnold is the only QB to win more than 5 games as the Jets starting QB. He won 7 in 2019.
Not sure the new regime is going to be high on Corley or Travis, which means Joe Douglas's last draft class is looking pretty bad. 2nd round pick sent for Rodgers. Fashanu looks like a solid pick at 11 but in typical Douglas fashion, picks outside of round 1 look ugly.

In four playoff games, Jalen Hurts had 3 passing plays where the Eagles were trailing. All came while trailing 7-6 in the first quarter. Saquon Barkley had 3 carries for 126 yards and 2 TDs while trailing in the playoffs.
