Every year when the world commemorates the courage of Tank Man in China, I’m reminded of 14-year-old Tank Boy Fares Odeh, may he rest in power. His bravery in the face of Israel/i tanks barging into Gaza deeply inspired my generation. It ripped the fear out of our hearts. (1/8)

There is no hypocrisy on this earth more glaring than the hollow words of leaders like @vonderleyen — who speaks of mercy for Gaza while lifting not a single finger. Their tongues cry ‘humanitarian aid,’ but their hands remain idle, complicit in the siege they pretend to mourn.
