nostradamus.⠀ the original f4 volume with strange tales is always so good, especially whenever it's johnny-centric because i've been saying his family holds him back narratively. whenever you see johnny going out on his own and being actually tested by more cunning

and a bit more about johnny: writers can pull off the insecurity thing with johnny just fine, but i don't think a lot of people connect it with the fact that: 1. he's surrounded by insanely smart people, and he's not going to feel adequate in comparison to them.
