ISPS Handa Senior Open round 2. Live from Sunningdale at 13-30. Heavenly course, Top field.👌 Thomas Bjorn -7 thru 13 holes!!😳
Ian Baker Finch announces his retirement from CBS Sports. A superb golfer, first class broadcaster but more than that, a wonderful person, gentleman and friend.. IBF. enjoy your retirement with your lovely wife, family and those close to you. I’ll miss your company.
A fine week in this beautiful part of the world. Not a close Open, the golf of Scheffler was superb from start to finish. The majors gone until next April, but the rest of the summer/autumn to enjoy your game. Thanks for your comments. Play well and be good to each other.👌
Enjoying watching The Open. A good golfing morning weather wise, so far, with some well worked shots. Links golf requires a large variety which adds to the interest of those watching. Enjoy round 2 and we’ll see who is in good shape going into the weekend. 70+ ties make the cut.
I spent a couple of hours on the range today. I admired many talents who are some of the best players in the sport. I saw 2 players hit the ball as purely as it can be hit. The noise was different, the flight was perfection. Rory and Tyrrell are their names. A thrill to witness👌
That was a wonderful Scottish Open in my homeland. Top quality from start to finish. You’ll all be looking forward to The Open. There are several top tournaments across the Globe, but The Open stands alone. I look forward to touching down in Belfast tomorrow. Enjoy your week.👌
Fully underway in round 4 in Scotland. 23 players within 5 shots! Busy leaderboard throughout the afternoon I suspect.👌
Scorchio in Scotland, largest attendance outside of The Open. The Genesis Scottish golf, full coverage live from one on Sky Sports. 👌
He, and they were outstanding. First LP I bought was, Every picture tells a story, 53 years ago. Lucky to have lived in that musical era.👌
Watching the Senior Open and and my old pals, Jimenez, Clarke , Bjorn and Padraig. The comms are the excellent. Jacobsen, Faxon and Gannon. First class golf and commentary. Next is the under 21’s in the hope they win via Germany. Sport is wonderful. 👌
Loved your replies. Number 9 was my one omission. The rest, I remember like it was yesterday. I’m officially, old!☹️
I know I shouldn’t have favourites, but I’m cheering Tommy Fleetwood and his excellent caddie, Ian Finnis to victory. Two top class chaps and so far, so good.
Not sure this world club footie is necessary after a long Prem and several others season? The crowd reminds me of Scottish Div 2 game many moons ago.? An off season would be of benefit so the ‘25/26 players, interest and fans are fresh and raring to go?
After a slow start and a lot of rough hacking, marvellous mayhem at Oakmont. Pleased for JJ, a comeback of all comebacks. Bob McIntyre was outstanding, his time will come as will Hatton’s. Not my type of course, Burn’s no drop was poor. Thank you for your comments. Regards, EM.
An interesting day ahead in USA. Can Adam secure major No2 or will Viktor, Sam, Tyrrell or JJ claim No1? Or, will it be someone else’s US Open? The great thing about sport is we never know until the bell tolls. Enjoy the final round @SkySportsGolf from 4pm.
Carlos Alcaraz is a tennis Severiano Ballesteros Sota. Drop shots like Seve’s wedges, mercurial talent, sporting genius. WHAT a final! In this uncertain world, live sport is a welcome relief. What a joy to witness a contest like that.👌Brilliant.
Great Women’s final at Roland Garros. Had to mute sadly which takes away much of the match atmosphere , tension and thrills. Why Sabalenka has to scream on every shot, even a drop volley, why? I don’t know.? Worthy winner in Coco. Top playing.👌
Only 2 days left to take part in the VE80 Golf Auction in memory of Harry Billinge. Amazing auction lots on offer including a round with the the great Ian Woosnam! facebook.com/share/v/19JTZX…
