#Ayaitto often spent their evenings together at the rocky beach where they first met. One day, however, Ayato didn't show up at their usual time. Itto waited for hours, and as it started to get dark, he decided to climb the mountain that Ayato always came down from. 🧵

I call this my "lazy style". Originally, I wanted to use it for my fan comics, but I'm no longer satisfied with it. I haven't rendered any of the pages yet, but I imagine the final result will be less detailed than my recent art, but also not as basic as this one.

Random Ayaitto symbolism: The surname "Arataki" translates as "wild waterfall". Ayato's "Takimeguri Kanka" state means "a flower reflection of a waterfall". His passive talent, "Mine Wo Matoishi Kiyotaki", translates to "a pure waterfall dressed in mountain peaks". 🔵🔶

🧵 I want to draw more of this hugetimescip!AU, so here’s the idea: Itto made it to the industrial age. Visually, I picture it as retro-futuristic cyberpunk setting. After many years since Ei's Inazuma, Itto has become more mature, more depressed - more everything.

Itto thinks Ayato is just a regular guy, but that doesn’t stop him from constantly bragging about how close they are, almost like he’s friends with a celebrity. To Itto, Ayato is just that cool.

(I've always wanted to revisit this.) The idea is that old man Itto reflects on his youth with Ayato. Even back then, Itto subconsciously knew how much their time together meant to Ayato, allowing him to embrace his inner child. Seeing Ayato free and joyful was worth every loss.
