We've partnered with Modular to create Large Scale Inference (LSI), a new OpenAI-compatible inference service. It's up to 85% cheaper than other offerings & can handle trillion-token scale. We originally created it at the request of a major AI lab to do large scale multimodal…

every time we work with a customer on inference we deeply embed with them, setup an apples-to-apples comparison, and use that to quote a price that beats what they're currently doing while keeping the same accuracy we're starting to productize that whole experience now
I remember some @garrytan (i think) tweet that says "we're coming for those towers downtown" and that cannot be more true
every year or so, a new neighborhood in sf is declared the place where all the ai companies are, because the companies keep growing, hiring more people, and having to switch neighborhoods to get a bigger office

making fusion produce gold too is like when game designers place coins that lead you to the next step in the main quest
Congrats to the team at @MarathonFusion for identifying a plausible, scalable process for transmuting mercury into gold. This is something that drove Isaac Newton insane.

this is very cool
Introducing MirageLSD: The First Live-Stream Diffusion (LSD) AI Model Input any video stream, from a camera or video chat to a computer screen or game, and transform it into any world you desire, in real-time (<40ms latency). Here’s how it works (w/ demo you can use!):
scaling laws = price sensitive customers = low margins = high inventory risk = traditional cloud business model breaks = new model emerges
chat can I get a summary of what his insights are in a tweet
Correct me if i'm wrong but I think we were the first "AI" company in hayes valley
We're going to sublease our current office space in the center of Hayes Valley. It's a beautiful, two floor spot, at about 2900 sqft in total, with room for about 20 desks. If you're interested, please DM!
