『蓮華(れんげ)』という言葉は仏教における蓮と睡蓮の総称なんだ。散り蓮華、蔓蓮華が何を表し駆使した血鬼術なのかは、これでだいたいわかるだろ？
蓮と睡蓮の違いはわかるかい？ 蓮は泥から茎を伸ばして咲き、睡蓮は水面に浮くように咲く。葉に切れ込みがあるのが睡蓮で、果托(花の中心にある種を蓄える器官)は蓮にしかない。 あと睡蓮には香りがあって、 その品種ごとに全て香りが違うんだ。
