New Publication: Praise the Lord, O my soul by Judith Ward. This is the winning piece from Hereford Cathedral Voluntary Choir’s composition competition. The first performance will be given at Evensong in @HFDCathedral on Sunday 27 July, 5.30pm, @ThreeChoirs.

The Christ Church Choir, Christiana Hundred, are in residence at York Minster from 21-27 July 2025. Today they gave the first performance of Sarah MacDonald’s new setting of The Lord’s Prayer, composed for use with her Responses (Set 3).

Newly published: St Francis of Assisi by Bryan Kelly, a cantata for soloists, SATB chorus & orchestra, words by John Fuller. This work has a colourful, exuberant style including some moments of humour. 2026 will mark the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis of Assisi.
