So much of “tradwife” and, even, “cuteservative” culture relies on women who have jobs, make money, didn’t settle for the first guy who came along, and either don’t have kids or didn’t stay home, telling women to self-limit to pad their own wallets and it sucks.
“the tr*nsformed w*fe” saying women can gain zero wisdom from college, while also having gone to college and had a job as a teacher, makes me think of how nancy mace complaining about men being in women’s spaces, while having been the first women to graduate from the citadel. lol
Oh man, FB is reminding me of that time postpartum with the twins when I was so sleep deprived I couldn’t get Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8ter Boi” out of my head for days. That was the worst moment of parenting, I can confidently say, all these years later
