So, actually you really get more views. They change depending on how the content performs. I got over 400 extra views on some videos and 2300+ on others. The best part is that, as you can see with “Create more,” TikTok pushes you to post more videos, and those get boosted too.

Now TikTok allows max 7 hashtags, and being specific helps get more views, but funny thing: on older phones with outdated OS, you can still add unlimited hashtags, probably because the change is client side. So don’t update unless needed.

This TikTok feature is probably one of the most underrated. If you post rarely or your recent videos get low views, TikTok gives you a chance to create videos that are boosted by the algorithm, similar to the early boost on your first posts.

Crazy how TikTok with every update is letting users personalize their FYP more and more. Now users can even block viral songs, trends, all hashtags, or mark content as promotional, even if it’s not part of an ad, with a simple tap. All of this obviously impacts videos.

The reason why I don’t use and have always told everyone not to use scheduling tools for TikTok is exactly this. It might sound crazy, but TikTok shadowbans your content, and it doesn’t just happen with third party apps, it even happens with TikTok Studio itself.
