im not sure how it happened but i went from fighting for local village issues to fighting for BC and Canada. the irony is not lost on me
Learning about antisemitism over the decades had me convinced the world would “never again”. On the other side, coming from the Indian Act World, I’m actually surprised Canada is willing to allow government to chip away at rights and freedoms.
Let’s get this straight: while rampant violent offenders are released hours after their most recent charges & antisemitic rioters vandalize businesses, terrorize daycares & block traffic without consequences, the Crown wants 7 years prison time for the charge of mischief for Lich…
Economy and governance has been my topics since 2003. It all seems relevant now

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Combined with record level debt, huge government and politics, Canada will be in for a ride.
I can understand USA wanting us to fail. What I don’t understand is why Canada helps the USA, especially our leadership. SMH doesn’t seem to express it enough
Last yr, if you took your family for a car ride, you’re a climate change denier and were burning the planet. Today the gov’t wants to fasttrack energy projects while eliminating emission requirements.

Today, after 21 years of trying to get LNG exports going, i watched this tanker leave Kitimat. It brings back so many good and bad memories. This and the KMLNG project is the blueprint! Just cutback on the politics
Canada just exported our first LNG cargo! A reason to celebrate if you care about our economic security and answering the call to meet growing global demand.
I read all about anti-semitism in Canada/USA prior to world war 2 and i thought Canadians & the world learned a lesson in humanity. Wake up People! Its not right to call for death for any race of people!

So far, Canada’s elbows up strategy has agreed with everything Trump wanted from managed borders to proposed military spending. Now the digital tax or even supply management is going to instigate what? China and USA tariffs seem to be the new Canadian normal

It’s like being stuck inside the Indian Act with no economy and nonsensical rules. Social and economic problems go hand in hand. Canada should have kept strengthening itself with a strong economy as it’s foundation instead of what we’re faced with now
Everyone is talking about the “root causes” of social and economic problems. Unfortunately, none of these people really want to address the fact that big government is the root cause of most of them. In fact, they want to double down on these failed policies. Bizarre! Brian…
Forget about China building ferries for BC for awhile. Lets get elbows up over oil Instead. I lost my tv remote, what channel are we on now?

Bill C-5 will turn Canada into an ENERGY SUPERPOWER!!! (Unless the provinces disagree, then we’ll just keep supplying USA with gas/oil at a discount) Projects in the National interest now has a neutral meaning complete with elbows
Bill C-5 is said to be about ‘national interest’ projects. Yet Liberals won’t show a list of projects, keep saying that 🇨🇦 is in a crisis, & hand individual Premiers a veto. Either it’s a crisis requiring national leadership or it’s not. They need to step up & be transparent:
One Canada, one economy is dependent on Provincial/First Nations consent/vetoes. Bill C-5 by the Liberals was designed to fail while creating the illusion that somebody’s elbows were up (I don’t know whose elbows were supposed to be up???)
Last night, The Economist posted that the Liberal government is negotiating first rights of refusal to united states for Canada’s mineral resources. Elbows up? Diversifying trade? Canada’s not for sale? Have provinces agreed to this? The government didn’t deny this
The anniversary of the apology made 17 years ago in Ottawa. I watched this as a Haisla councillor and it confirmed the road we were on as an elected council was the right one
