EFCTRUTH & OPINIONS

Trying to address the misinformation surrounding EFC’s PSR breach and our finances, and other random opinions
A lot of hate today I’ll quickly summarise by opinions on key issues facing the club. Moyes I like him, he was the right man to take us over mid season. He will help to rebuild us - but I share concerns about how much influence he should have on transfers.
Remember a player saying this last pre season, but because Dyche said it fans lost their heads.
🗣️ James Garner: “The manager hasn’t said much to me in terms of the role he wants me to play. It’s only pre-season, so a lot of the work is fitness and stuff like that. I’m hoping that he has a little bit of a sit down with me and tells me what he expects.”
Remember the fume when Iroegbunam said similar last season?

I want the owners (Friedkin & others) to set the budget. Let the football committee decide how best to use it. No statement signings - just getting the best squad (for short & medium term) with the money available.

I think we all tend to underestimate the human side of playing football. Impacts how players choose clubs, and how they perform Stan’s points on geography are interesting. I’ve also recently shared a @ground_guru article about helping players settle.
Liverpool. Isak. Ruthless 🔴 Toon. Geography problem? ⚫️⚪️ Rashford. Completely undeserving of Barca. Evan Ferguson. 20 yrs old, why on earth no top 6 club took a punt 🤷🏽♂️ Agents fees. Now enough to halt deals. Time to stop it. caughtoffside.com/2025/07/25/col…
Squad building 1) we’ve got a first team that can compete 2) we need additions. I’m happy for club to wait for the right signings.
Who gets to decide who is “loyal” and who is a “tourist”?
This is shocking. Ballots are a horrendous way to sell tickets. Mates of mine are red shite fans and they can never get tickets despite having their top tier memberships. If we go like that then it's going to really anger loyal fans. I do not want us to become a tourist club
Did anyone seriously think Forever+ would guarantee a ticket?
They wouldnt have sold anywhere near as many Forever+ memberships if they'd have announced this was the way forward beforehand. Can see many not being a fan of this!
At June 24 EFCW owed Everton £3.4m This would have increased in 24/25 It does look like housekeeping. The likely sale to EFCW Holding is/was likely to be at a very different value.
Thinking about EFCW Ltd further, two points to make - the £4m spent on the 2 shares most likely represent a cleaning of the balance sheet to enable future investment rather than reflecting the current valuation. If we were to look for new investors that makes a great deal of…
This transaction happened in June We need to see more documentation before making statements on valuation We could se that in the next few days..
Issue of 2 new shares in EFCW Ltd for circa £4m provides working capital and puts a value of £6m on the women's club …te.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/073351…
Reminder: The shares were never “worth” £2.5k/£3k People chose to spend that amount on the shares.
This sounds like a good idea, but what about those shareholders who’s shares have been diluted to virtually nothing, Moshiri/Kenwright hammered the 1st nail in, now followed by a further dilution, shares that were worth £2.5k are now worthless
We have no idea how much extra capital TFG will inject Roundhouse already has significant minority shareholders. There is plenty of scope for more shareholders,
The Friedkins ability to inject fresh capital is not a get out of jail free card re future spending. It just means the cost of capital is born by the Friedkins not the club unlike a shareholder loan. The same limits apply on how much we can spend. Those limits linked to our P&L
