Today we are taking the eel story to Avalon Camps - a charity offering respite and summer camping experiences to deserving young people from inner cities.
The Bayeux Tapestry is cool as hell. A 230 foot-long textile account of the Norman Conquest from the 11th C., with lots of fun details, including 626 people, 190 horses, 35 dogs, 32 ships, & 93 penises. "Are there eels?" you ask. Of course there are eels! Let's take a look! 1/8

Some fun personal news: this morning I received an award from @eelgroup, recognizing my public outreach and work in making people care about eels. Follow your dreams, kids! If you make enough bad eel puns, for long enough, then somebody will slip up and give you an award.
