BREAKING: The cost of policing the Epping protests over the last week has reached £100,000, Essex Police has said. Chief Superintendent Simon Anslow said it was "money which we would much rather spend on continuing to cut crime across Essex and keeping our neighbourhoods safe.”
BREAKING: Five people arrested, one police officer injured and a police vehicle damaged during tonight's Epping protest. Four of the arrests for violent disorder over offences alleged to have happened at Thursday’s protest. The fifth was after an unmarked police car was damaged.
