2 hours searching & digging litter/trash out of Pittsburgh's Pine Creek mud today resulted in a full bucket of plastic & glass removed + a mangled 3 legged chair. After a few days without rain, the creek was crystal clear, allowing good vision to clean up the bottom🧐
Update: It is still in the low 70s at 1: 30 PM, and this cool temperature record is likely to fall.
There are 4 calendar dates that have never seen a daytime high below 80°F in Pasadena, California in 118 years of weather record keeping. Tomorrow, July 22, is one them. The forecast calls for marine drizzle and a high of 79°F. It would be the first cool record since 4/14/2024.
Blunder. We definitely reached 81 or 82 at the main station. The urban heat island and climate change are just too strong.
