The pointy end of the stick. The SBU is a great trenchless method to address hard ground, boulders & definitely full face rock. Augmenting a standard auger bore, SBU allows better mitigation tough ground conditions. This 900mm set up is being prep'd for two 45m on grade drives.

What a great day to be by a lake! We are driving fresh water intake for the Chippewas of Awash First Nations. If you look close you can see divers locating our drill head. It has been great seeing this beautiful area and meeting some incredible people inside the community!

The process is 'cleaning mud'... Cuttings from the face of the bore or #tunnel are run through separation systems to remove heavy solids and related fines. The fluid is 'recycled' & sent back downhole to support the trenchless excavation work. Yes... 'Cleaning Mud'. #trenchless
#mtbm drives come in all lengths & sizes. This current drive on our Halton project clocked in at 545m for a 1200mm concrete sanitary. Another long drive notched into the belt. Success was a collective team effort, grit, hard work and determination. Great work Team! More to come!
