“We’re in the death phase,” one UNRWA worker said. “Everything around people at the moment is death, whether it’s bombs or strikes, children wasting away in front of their eyes from malnourishment, from dehydration, and dying.” news.un.org/en/story/2025/… @mehdirhasan @MacaesBruno
Trump: -bombed Iran despite US intel saying it makes it more likely Iran seeks nukes -is arming Israel’s Gaza siege starving one million kids -is assisting Israel’s attempted ethnic cleansing in Gaza. That’s the opposite of stabilizing, but apparently what AJC stands for now.
While the Trump administration continues its efforts to stabilize the Middle East, actions by the Iranian regime and its proxies continue to undermine regional peace. On Friday night, a ballistic missile launched at Israel by the Houthis in Yemen was intercepted by air defenses.…
Israel broke the last ceasefire and rejects a permanent one. It’s starving one million children. It’s killed hundreds of civilians trying to get aid. It’s openly attempting the forced displacement—i.e., ethnic cleansing—of Gaza’s people. And you’re aiding and abetting it all.
Disgusting! 25 nations put pressure on @Israel instead of savages of Hamas! Gaza suffers for 1 reason: Hamas rejects EVERY proposal. Blaming Israel is irrational. Israel rejects 25 nation statement calling for end to Gaza war timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry… via @timesofisrael
Gaza is starving. And those who dare seek food are being shot. This is morally and strategically disastrous. We continue to call on our community to act and push back against this policy – for peace, for an end to the war, for every parent trying to feed their children.
So the US can lean on Israel's government to make changes to their visa policies but can't lean on them to make changes to their mass starvation and ethnic cleansing policies
After meetings with the Minister of the Interior and with the help of @IsraeliPM , I’m happy to report that the issue concerning visas for American Evangelical organizations has been fully resolved. Starting in January, a change in the manner which visas for Christian…
She has one of the strongest pro-Palestinian voting records in Congress. It’s fair to debate strategy and disagreement over specific choices--but vandalizing her office and saying @AOC “funds genocide” isn’t just wrong. It’s reckless, dishonest, misleading, and deeply unserious.…
.@AOC’s Bronx HQ was redecorated with red paint tonite by a group called the Boogie Down Liberation Front. The group denounced AOC’s vote to fund Israel & the genocide in Gaza & also called out how politicians (like AOC & Ritchie Torres) use the Bronx to further their careers.
Israel is openly starving and trying to forcibly displace the civilian population of Gaza, which are crimes against humanity. Stop or become a pariah state.
Israel rejects the joint statement published by a group of countries, as it is disconnected from reality and sends the wrong message to Hamas. All statements and all claims should be directed at the only party responsible for the lack of a deal for the release of hostages and a…
Impossible to understand the nightmare in Gaza — and Trump ensuring it continues via extensive US support — without acknowledging the choices the Biden admin made to put us on this course. Trump repeating their playbook is a microcosm of bipartisan US foreign policy failure.
Echoes of the Biden administration. Every few weeks the White House rediscovers that Netanyahu often does things America dislikes because of his own self-interested political reasons, vents about it, and then promptly forgets about it axios.com/2025/07/20/isr…
Christianity didn’t start with men named Park, that’s for sure.
Lots of guys with names like "Khalil" and "Firas" and "Zaid" and "Shadi" logging on to explain to American Protestants what Christianity is and isn't over the last couple days...
It’s going to keep happening for as long as the UK and its partners refuse to impose any meaningful consequences on Israel for continuing its starvation and slaughter of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
The suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths. Alongside 25 other partners, the UK message is clear: the war in Gaza must end now. We need an immediate ceasefire, release of all hostages and a full resumption of aid. gov.uk/government/new…
130 people were killed and more than 1,000 wounded in Gaza this weekend. People are starving. Many were shot by the Israeli military while simply trying to get food. This is completely insane and unacceptable. No more U.S. military aid to Israel.
Day after day after day, starving Palestinians trying to get food are slaughtered by Israeli troops. Then Israel announces some fake investigation that never leads to accountability or changes, and the dumbest people on this website blame anyone but the people in charge.

Politico Playbook named this new Foreign Policy piece by @CIPolicy’s @mattduss a “must-read.” “Biden’s Team Lied About Gaza. It’s Time to Hold Them Accountable.” foreignpolicy.com/2025/07/18/bid…
I accidentally hit repost when I wanted to quote & comment on it and now @X won’t let me undo it. Its second assertion is objectively false given what Netanyahu has repeatedly said. Ongoing war prevents the hostages’ return—that’s why Israeli hostage families demand a ceasefire.

Hamas started this terrible war on October 7, 2023, and could end it today by surrendering and freeing the 50 hostages.
These atrocities are happening every day and that is because this is not a humanitarian relief effort, it is a trap and a cover for the fiction that Israel is providing aid while starving the population of Gaza

Yep. Also, while arms embargo would be great, there is a vast toolbox of measures EU/US can apply to Israel that would require far less domestic heavy lifting than an arms embargo, but would still very much make Israel stop in its tracks. It's all about "won't", not "can't."
Children are dying and people are collapsing in the street as Israel starves Gaza and kills hundreds seeking aid. Countries have a responsibility to protect civilians from such atrocities. Impose an arms embargo, sanction Israel and break the siege now. pbs.org/newshour/show/…

For airdrops to work, there needs to be one airdrop every 15 minutes nonstop 24/7 There's a much easier alternative: Israel lifting its murderous draconian siege & allowing food trucks in But the international community would rather perform endless PR stunts than press Israel!
Airdrops of aid into Gaza are currently being discussed with three regional countries, I'm told by a senior Israeli official. One of those countries is actively planning to proceed with airdrops. These discussions started three weeks ago. This answer was in response to a…
