He’s been getting so much drift this series that the traditional concerns of matchups of in-spin to RHB don’t matter, he can challenge the outside edge constantly. This test Shubman has definitely erred by giving Kambhoj too many overs before him.
Bruh, Sundar is so good lol.
The famously played together trio of Gambhir, Dhoni and Srinath. I swear if I see one more of these KP style amnesia era crunching tweets today
Which of these two GOATed Indian lineups would you back to dominate the red-ball arena? 🇮🇳🤍🏏 Drop your pick in the comments 👇 #India #SouravGanguly #ViratKohli #Sportskeeda
Think folks need to start differentiating between bowling option depth and bowling quality depth. It’s the lack of the second one that India are facing here and there are no quick massive fixes, although they don’t help themselves, sure.
That Stokes blast off Jadeja one of the flattest tank blasts I’ve seen, reminds me of one Hayden played in the 2007 WC vs SA, does anyone have a clip?
I mean, I gave you the Old Trafford cheat sheet with value for pace and HTD.
Getting the cheat sheet out really early for reactionary management (and fan base) who have knee jerk reactions to outcomes game to game: Akash and skidders real handy at Edgebaston, Prasidh very good pick for Old Trafford, Manchester gives very good value to HTD bowling
If there’s one thing this Indian side didn’t do it’s throw in the towel. Wicket keeper bat broke his foot and came out to bat. The two lead pacers suffered niggles and injuries and still put in a shift post that right at end of the day bowling lengthy spells.
India seem to have all but given up; on the Test and the series. #INDvsENGTest
I can’t tell you how nailed on a Root hundred is this summer in Aus.
I can't explain it but it's such a joy watching Joe Root go about his craft.
Two wickets, keep them to parity till new ball and look for 6 wickets in a hundred runs, it’s open.
Keep England close to parity (with 130+ runs available in 34 overs) when second new ball comes and try to get the next 5-6 wickets in under a 100 runs. Already seems a tall task.
Just a year or more ago England would have been a lot more aggressive and “reckless” in this sort of position and risk giving away their position. Would not ruthlessly tire and grind the opponent down. They’ve evolved bazball a bit over time, iteratively improving it.
