‘Thank You’ to the staff at Cards 4 you Dudley in the nearby Churchill Precinct, Dudley, who have donated five big boxes of face masks to us. Our keeping team still wear masks post Covid around susceptible species, including big cats and great apes.

Today marks 275 years since Dudley Castle was ravaged by fire. Starting on July 24 1750, the blaze raged for 3 days & nights. The castle was never rebuilt & left to become the ruin you see today. Come and discover more about the castle's history during your next visit to DZC!

Our youngest Linnes two-toed sloths, Zippy & Jude, have moved house! In order to give mum and dad, Flo & Reggie, a little bit of peace and quiet, visitors can now spot their offspring living above their new floor-dwelling roomies - six-banded armadillo sisters, Lana & Becca.

Dudley Castle’s courtyard will be filled with classic cars next Sunday as we once again welcome West Midlands Classic Car Club to DZC. More than 50 vintage vehicles will be on show to visitors between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 13th July. Normal zoo admission prices apply.
