State Senate Republicans say Democratic lawmakers created a crisis by pushing through a last minute change to the partisan makeup of an important legislative committee, but are opting not to file a lawsuit since courts won't want to rule on a case involving legislative affairs.

Although the Democrats would not give my SB505 bill a hearing, I am very excited to see Governor Lombardo’s Office of Energy moving forward with my concepts. We need to continue to build our energy infrastructure, resiliency, and fuel independence from California.

I agree w/ Chairman @McDonaldNV & strongly oppose open primaries, which Nevada voters have already vetted & rejected. It would complicate voting, increase provisional ballots, & delay results. We must respect the people’s decision and maintain our efficient closed primary system.
