We are truly thrilled to release the full version of Frozen Patients. Please leave your comments. Yesterday at the screening. "Your team has never made us feel this is about research; you have all put the patients first" youtu.be/hpuD2cv85E4?si…

Paul, you’re too critical of the university and the province. As a physician if someone showed me that I was the worst performer on the continent, wouldn’t I want to fix it? How can you feel criticized when you don’t perform? I would never do that to my patients.
I started this study we presented at our national meeting. Look at how many resident in my field BC funds at UBC. The worst in North America not a single residency graduate, works in interior health. All over BC the Specialists come from outside BC. This is 2 fold. Firstly, BC…
Ted Talk: Mystery of cyroneurolysis. The complexity is challenging to comprehend. How to manage a machine with one button 1. Turn on so your gas flows. It expands in the probe and drops temperature. 2. The water freezes 3. Nerve tissues are destroyed 4. They regenerate
When people ask me a why Cryoneurolysis with nitrous oxide or carbon dioxide only damages the axon and not other structures like blood vessels? Why do these roses grow in my garden on their own? Because that’s how nature works.

Weekends on the island. Hey #YYZ we don’t have cottages or a 400 404 or 401! But Ontario is way more committed to training, healthcare professionals than BC, which just steals everyone elses! We still need you though.
We see drug after drug fail to work. Studies show low efficacy for neuropathic pain. Yet our Canadian governments are geared to pay for drugs, not interventions, equipment or people. The USA Medicare is better. This is what drives me, objective patient improvements. @adfurlan

cbc.ca/news/canada/fi… When I see my new patients in wheelchairs. What do you do for a living/study? Even if they have one functioning limb. Canada's productivity would skyrocket if those with disabilities coached and assessed those with workplace injuries and illness.
So now @CBCNews and the Missing Middle folks are blaming seniors? Not the corporate landowners, or mass immigration. Do they know that seniors have deferred property taxes until they sell, and they have to pay tens of thousands of dollars in land transfer tax to buy a new home?
I see awesome health executives grapple with the massive costs of only in BC privacy rules. For example, remember when Dix and Henry told First Nations they were forbidden from knowing the rates of outbreaks near their nations? In contrast, CNN had every zip code and all the…
Imagine if doctors had teams, nurses, social work, physio. #bcpoli by design. UPCCs are not team-based. BC traditionally kept doctors out. ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD YOU CANNOT COME FOR A JOB INTERVIEW IN AN ER WITHOUT obtaining A BC LICENCE. timescolonist.com/local-news/isl… @cindyeharnett
Kudos for public support. But drugs for neurological disease are rarely highly effective. From nerve pain to ALS. Why do drugs get blank cheque? Not equipment, therapy, aides? Doctor who chaired committee responsible for Pollock decision protests. vancouversun.com/news/member-of…
