Today the @IrishTimes published a letter from the IUA VPs Research highlighting concerns over chronic underinvestment in research, noting that much of the university equipment is outdated, hindering the training of graduates and cutting-edge research. ⬇️ irishtimes.com/opinion/letter…

I was honoured to have been invited to deliver the 100th Colles lecture. Really great to have so many colleagues, friends and particularly former researchers from @TissueEngDublin in attendance.

Delighted to an awardee of a @Researchirel Frontiers for the Future funding. It will allow us to lead with the first BioBrillouin instrumentation on the Island- making new discoveries in the body's response to implants and medical devices.
