The McLaren’s are going to absolutely COOK in this race. Because no one else will be able to hold onto their inters on this track through sector 2. Barring a starting clash, they will probably sail off into the distance with the excellent Tyre temp management.
Why even set your car up for rain if the FIA will just wait for the rain to pass and the track to dry up before running?

That’s a better lap for George Russell, but over 7ths is an eternity. Needs to try and beat out Yuki here to stay close with Charles. Great lap for Yuki tho.

The key to the win was the lap 1 pass into Les Combes. He couldn’t let Piastri stay in front through turns 12-15, otherwise he would be gone for good. It all started by splitting the Macca’s in Sprint Qualifying.
