With the news that Congress is shutting down and going on vacation for a month, something 98% of working Americans will never have, I think this needs repeating!!!
Let's implement an hourly wage for Congress. If they are not working, they do not get paid. This unlimited vacation and time off is crap. If they were only paid for time worked, you would see how quickly they would have their butts in DC.
