Trying out some fancy digital phenotyping equipment on the @OMEXCompanies wheat fertiliser trial plots
Exciting new agronomy role @OMEXCompanies for someone interested in sustainable agriculture and crop nutrition. linkedin.com/feed/update/ur…
Highly visible differences continue to show up in the dry conditions on our @OMEXCompanies light land nitrogen and sulphur plots. The most resilient treatments had at least 180 kg/ha N and a decent dose of S.

The ongoing dry weather showing up the differences very clearly in our @OMEXCompanies liquid v. granular fertiliser strip trial in Ireland
The Nitrogen and Sulphur dose rate plots at our @OMEXCompanies light land trials site looking like a paint colour chart in the current droughty conditions. No prizes for spotting Treatment 1 = no nitrogen or sulphur.

Sampling for nitrous oxide emissions in our wheat trial in Lincolnshire, part of @OMEXCompanies drive to reduce GHG from food production
As the UK basks in an unseasonably warm and dry spell this April, with temperatures reaching up to 22°C in some regions, farmers have a prime opportunity to enhance crop yields by utilising @OMEXCompanies liquid fertilisers. omex.com/uk/enhance-yie…
Pleased and proud that @OMEXCompanies are involved with this valuable project
The YEN could not exist without our sponsors. Thank you for your continued support 🙏 YEN is truely a collaborative effort with the whole ag industry working together to find solutions to common problems @ceresrural
Donation no. 121 goes into the bank. I’ve been dieting, working out and given up drinking so this should be some seriously good juice #GiveBlood

At the #IFSConf 2024 sponsored by @OMEXCompanies boning up on all the latest science in the world of crop nutrition

A consistent pattern emerging from proper trials rather than commercial hype: "The biological products demonstrated in this project did not show any effects on yield, protein or seed oil concentrations, regardless of environmental conditions or overall N fertility level".

Well worth a read - with an open mind. Yes, @OMEXCompanies has a wide range of biostimulants and plant health products, but no we never claim that they somehow magically transform soils, and we back everything we say about their benefits to plants (not soils) with good science.
You can’t bio-product your way to soil health—products don’t improve soil’s physical conditions, but proven practices do. Before spending your money on an unproven product, try a time-tested practice to build soil. My latest: csanr.wsu.edu/?p=22836
Good to go at the Elsoms Open Day today. Weather improving come and talk to us about mitigating GHG emissions

I stubbornly refuse to acknowledge my biological age, but the only snail mail I get now is for stairlifts, funeral plans and Saga holidays which is all a bit depressing
