I love to bring my own ideas to life and strive to make a living from them π± Follow my journey building: π» @snappify_io, π @VemetricHQ
I'm excited to announce that @VemetricHQ is now Open Source π After a long period of thinking about this, and exchanging with others, I finally decided to operate Vemetric under an open-core model, making its codebase openly available Let me tell you a bit more about it π

recently Iβm shipping slower than usual, makes me feel a bit bad but at the same time Iβm also enjoying the summer with the fam working on your products is all about the balance, especially if you want to do it over a longer period of time
showing actions on hover (on mobile they'll be visible on the detail view of a funnel)
you can follow me if you want to see me building my products in public and trying to make a living from them plus occasional brain farts
together with Claude Code, I finally implemented a programmatic way of checking which elements a Template in snappify uses to determine which Subscription you need for it now I can show these badges for each of them :D saves me a lot of time from now on as I had to do itβ¦

there's always something you miss when adding a sticky banner to your website π (just fixed the positioning of the mobile nav popover) PS: the LaunchDay Deal is still available until today 2pm CEST (90 minutes), in case you want to grab it! :D
one month ago I've open-sourced Vemetric since then, it has gained 137 stars I've recently seen quite some projects growing much faster, but given it's my first real open-source project, I'm kinda happy about this number already! :D

Vemetric is live on LaunchDay! π₯³ if you considered in giving Vemetric a try - I'm offering a very rare and special discount code there :) be sure to check it out, Dago created a nice platform where indie hackers hang out and promote their products - there's a lot of value inβ¦
LaunchDay #3 is here π₯³ I've met 13 indie makers from all over the world: - Lydia who pivoted her product 6 times in 2 years, and finally found success when she got back to her original idea. - Yahia who builds a super niche product with very slow growth but almost 0 churn. Soβ¦
I need to adjust the calculation of this metric because it gets misleading atm, I just take the amount of projects created in the DB, but more and more people sign up, create a project, but never start tracking I should only count projects that also have tracked events

had a nice chat with @dagorenouf about my journey, snappify & Vemetric, and indie hacking in general Dago's format is perfect to listen to while working, in case you want to tune in :D and tomorrow, Vemetric will be live on LaunchDay! π youtube.com/watch?v=5kRAp7β¦
new Vemetric subscription has landed π€© itβs the first new customer this month, what a great feeling! perfect way to start the weekend π

wtf is up with the mobile experience for PRs on GitHub

atm Iβm working a lot in establishing a solid brand appearance for Vemetric β official Plugins and SDKs published β clean LP and Docs in place β started to get mentioned by other well-known brands I want Vemetric to be perceived what it is: a solid, well-crafted and easy toβ¦
Huge shoutout to @dominiksumer, just discovered his project is open source π€©. Dominik is a true craftman. Building beautiful products in a world filled with ugly sloppy ai junk. Reading his code now πΏ. What a gift to the world.
Explained to @dominiksumer how LaunchDay brings sales to founders π§
